KC Area: Gigs for Irish Music Band Kelly
Kansas City based Irish Trad band Kelly have lined up a series of gigs over the next couple of months.
We’ve already spoken about the Lenexa Spinach Festival when we talked of Kelly being on MySpace - that event is on September 8, 2007 - but here’s a few more gigs you can add to your calendar:
Aug 25 Christ United Methodist Church - Independence, MO
Sep 27 Eddie Delahunt’s Cafe & - State Line & 45th St, KC
Oct 04 Longview Community College 6pm - Lee’s Summit, MO
Nov 10 British Faire 8pm - Lenexa, Kansas
The August 25th, 2007 gig is a special one as it will be a benefit concert for Dwayne Stewart, and will take place on that Saturday from 5:00pm to 10:30pm at Christ United Methodist Church at 14506 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. As well as Kelly there will be performances by Ruth Ward & Friends, Abbey Road (Beatles Tribute Band), Night Train and many more.
We’ll talk about the Longview Community College and about the British Faire gigs nearer the time. I think you know about Eddie Delahunt’s Cafe &.
