The following relates to the sister pub of the new KC pub, the original Waxy O’Shea’s that opened in Branson in 2006:
If you’re in Branson, Missouri, the new Irish pub Waxy O’Shea’s is now open. But if you’re not in Branson, is the pub still open?
Waxy O’Shea’s is a new Irish pub located at Branson Landing (suite 235). It is founded by the guys in Kansas City that originally brought you O’Dowd’s Little Dublin on the Plaza, and WJ McBride’s Irish Pub.
No, I have no idea what the name refers to - perhaps Kitty O’Shea, wanton harlot, had a child she wasn’t supposed to, at the Waxies Dargle. Anyway, it’s perfect if you’re heading south to Branson for the warmer weather, or to visit a museum as a dead person.
