Irish Paintings Available for Purchase
I’ve begun re-organising the page of Irish paintings for sale. There’s over 170 paintings currently featured on the page, and it’s no easy task to present them in a way that makes sense to everyone.
The most common criticism has long been that with most of the paintingsnow sold, finding the paintings that are available for purchase has been a big scrolling pain. So now, up at the top, right after the section on the most recently sold paintings, I’ve added a section of paintings available for purchase and there’s a link to a dedicated page on my personal blog of paintings for sale.
At the time of writing there are 32 paintings listed there available for purchase, with some more to be added in when I can find the time. Also the next several weeks should see a lot more new paintings appear - though they’ll appear on the personal blog first where they have been selling out.
Would it be much trouble to include the size of the canvas with the thumbnail link to the blog on each painting? Makes it easier to plan where a potential buyer browsing the site might put a picture. (I know you have the size in the larger description).
I’ll have a look at it, thanks Willie.
While it’s not an option with the older smaller thumbnails, the new larger ones do give that option - but I have to balance it with requests for the price to also be on the thumbnail, and whether measurements should be in metric or imperial, or both - while all the time trying to conserve space for both readability and the minimisation of the scrolling that is necessary when presenting links to up to 200 paintings.
But I’ll definitely look at it and see if it’s workable. Thanks again.
