Irish Music in July 2009 at O’Malley’s
This weekend sees Kansas City based Irish trad band Kelly play at O’Malley’s Irish Pub up in Weston, Missouri. The gig takes place on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 8pm and you don’t get too many chances to see Kelly at O’Malley’s so pick a driver and head north.
Someone else you don’t see too often at O’Malley’s is Mr. Eddie Delahunt. The Irishman who always comes with friends is playing on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 8pm.
The following weekend you have Flannigan’s Right Hook playing both nights, Friday, July 24, 2009 and Saturday, July 25, 2009, again at 8pm each night.
July is closed out with Irish pub rockers Connacht Town playing the 8pm gigs of the 2 nights - on Friday, july 31, 2009 and Saturday, August 1, 2009.
If those times are too late for your demanding schedule, you continue to have singer of Irish ballads, Bob Reeder, play his regular weekly slots from 3pm to 9pm each Sunday.
And those are the Irish reasons to leave Kansas City for a short drive for the remaining weekends in July. O’Malley’s historic Irish pub is located in Weston, Missouri at 500 Welt Street, which you can’t really miss to be honest, but if you do call 816-640-5235 and they’ll put you straight )or diagonally if necessary).
Hmmmm
No posts - then two posts: one about Kelly and one about Kelly’s Westport Inn on this Kelly’s birthday! Cool.
slán, a chara
I probably should have thrown a video up of Woody from Cheers singing the Kelly song.
The non-working right arm will continue to mean erratic posting, I’m afraid, even if with my other arm I say I’m going to post x, y, and most likely, z. My arms rarely agree these days.
But never mind all that, go maire tú an lá!
