Irish Music at O’Malley’s of Weston, MO in January 2008
A few gaps in the Irish Events calendar have been filled in with regard especially to O’Malleys 1842 Irish Pub in Weston, Missouri.
Irish pub rock specialists Connacht Town play the historic Irish pub on Friday January 11, and Saturday January 12, 2008.
Before that Eddie Delahunt & Friends play at O’Malley’s on January 4th and 5th, going head to head against the big Elders weekend at the Record Bar down in Kansas City. It will also mean that Eddie’s regular Friday slot at Mike Kelly’s Westsider won’t be happening that weekend.
Later in January on the weekend of the 18th and 19th, honours are shared with Flannigan’s Right Hook playing on the Friday and Mr. Bob Reeder taking the helm on the Saturday night. This is in addition to Bob’s regular Sunday afternoon slot at O’Malley’s.
Finally in late January The Shortleaf Band play the Weston Irish pub on Friday January 25 and Saturday 26, 2008.
I’ve also added a couple of extra Flannigan’s Right Hook dates, and The Lucky Charms gig at Mike Kelly’s Westsider on Friday Jan 18, 2008 just after Eddie Delahunt’s slot.
And for good measure I’ve extended the dates on the Kansas City Irish Events calendar by 10 days, and added the future highlights to the bottom - these are the events that feature up the top of the far sidebar.
