Irish Music at Convention of National Flute Association

TODAY, Saturday August 9, 2008 from 12:30–1:30pm you can catch A Beginner’s Guide to the Irish Flute in the Van Horn room at the Hyatt Hotel in Kansas City’s Crown Center.
Presenter Lauren Joiner teaches participants about traditional Irish flute playing, including basic ornamentation styles, instrument selection, and a broad overview of Irish traditional music history.
Yesterday in the World Tour Stop series you missed Irish Folk Music by Andra Bohnet and Gareth McLearnon on flute, Lauren Joiner on guitar, and Mike Wooford on piano. Unless of course you went.
