Irish History Through Song
In another Irish Hedge School session at the Irish Museum and Cultural Center (IMCC) in Kansas City’s Union Station this Saturday, February 27, 2010, you can learn about the history of Ireland through song and music.
Through songs led by Peter Reilly Adams the workshop includes old Irish standards and rarer songs to take the participant through decades of Irish history. So you get both to hear Peter sing, and to hear the songs put into the context of Irish history.
This Irish Hedge School Session runs from 1 – 3 pm, and costs $12. It expands on the earlier February 13 Hedge School session. The IMCC is located in Union Station.
