Irish Conversation in the American Midwest #27
Grass
-Cut your grass for you sir?
-No thanks
-I’ll do a good job
-I’m sure you would, but the landlord always cuts it, it’s his grass, and that’s his house right there
-You don’t want me to cut it?
-Sorry no, the landlord is a landscaper, it’s what he does
-Do you want to buy a lawnmower?
-To do what?
-I’ve got two of them and I don’t need another one
-I don’t need any
-Do you know anybody that wants to buy a a lawnmower?
-I don’t. I don’t really speak to the neighbours; I’m kind of anti-social
-Oh
