The Young Dubliners in Missouri, Sep 1
Waxy O’ Shea’s Irish Pub is 1 year old, and to celebrate the Young Dubliners are playing their brand of Celtic Rock on Saturday September 1, 2007 at the Missouri Irish venue.
Located in Branson, Missouri, Waxy O’ Shea’s Irish Pub was started by the people that brought you the much loved WJ McBride’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas. They’ve also been involved with O’Dowd’s on the Plaza and the other WJ McBride’s in KCK.
The Young Dubliners, fronted by Dun Laoghaire’s Keith Roberts and based on the west coast, are regular visitors to this part of Missouri.
Currently the Young Dubs are enjoying the success of their latest release, With All Due Respect, The Irish Sessions where for the first time the boys sing Irish songs rather than their usual own brand of rock. You may recall that Roberts himself didn’t start to sing Irish songs until he left Ireland and found himself missing home while here in America. You should hear me in the bathroom.
Warm congratulations to Waxy’s on its 1st anniversary. I think the pub is a great venue to see the Young Dubliners play, and you probably want to do whatever it takes to get your place in there.
Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub is located at 235 Branson Landing in Branson, Missouri, and you can reach them by phone at 417-348-1759.
