Larry Moore and St Patrick’s Day
It’s a very busy time for the Kelly Green Brigade, and Larry takes on more, and more green, than most.
On KMBC Larry outlines what St Patrick’s Day and the build up does to his calendar.
March 7 sees him emcee the pre-parade downtown luncheon again when the Go for the Green Food Drive also gets kicked off.
March 8 sees Larry emcee the IMCC annual gala where Tom McDonnell is presented with the John J. Sullivan, Jr., Foundation Humanitarian Award.
On March 15 you can see Larry in the Brookside St Patrick’s Parade at 2pm. He’ll be with the Corvette from the McCarthy Group which is being raffled off in May to benefit the Dream Factory kids (tickets $50 on parade day).
Later that same day the Moores host their annual St. Patrick’s Irish Buffet and Table Tennis Tournament which sounds like fun, but I think you might need an invite. And I like that it’s not called Ping Pong.
On Sunday, March 16 Larry is Grand Marshal of the Martin city St Patrick’s parade out at 135th at 2pm. That’s the one you know as IrishPalooza
And before we get some thoughts on planting new potatoes, Larry confirms that once again he will be broadcasting live on KMBC-TV, Channel 9 the big one, the Kansas City St Patrick’s Day parade in downtown KC from 11am on March 17, 2008.
What are you doing that week?
This post will be added to the KC St Patrick’s Day guide, which I’ll be posting any day now.
