Irish Poet Paul Muldoon in Lawrence, KS
On Wednesday, February 27, 2008 Paul Muldoon, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Irish poet, gives a lecture in the Humanities series called The Eternity of the Poem at 7:30 pm at Woodruff Auditorium, Kansas Union in Lawrence.

You may recall that this titan among poets came to KC a couple of years ago. That prompted me to tell you that the first time I heard Paul Muldoon read one of his poems, I jumped on the bus into town (Dublin) and bought The Annals of Chile.
Along with the Pulitzer, Muldoon has a ridiculous array of awards, and is just a very entertaining man.
