Bring an Irish Mother to an Irish Breakfast at Browne’s
More news from Browne’s Irish Market & Deli. On Saturday, May 12, 2007, Browne’s are serving Irish Breakfast from 8:30am-11:30am.
The Irish store is actually open until 3:00pm, and as I’ve mentioned before, if you’re really desperate - say for example you’re out of tea and your head is playing out the Black Donnellys meeting the Sopranos - well if there’s somebody in there, they just might open up for you. They don’t do that at Aldi.
Saturday, May 12 is also the day before Mother’s Day, and if you bring your mother with you to Browne’s, together with a receipt to show that she really is your mother, and you buy a gift before, or on the day, Browne’s will have it wrapped and ready for you to give to your mother at breakfast.
Browne’s sell jewellery (jewelry if you’re American), clothing, and al sorts of Celtic fancy stuff that mothers like. But remember folks, a mother is for life, not just for breakfast.
I won’t be bringing my own mother though, as air fare from Ireland is a touch pricey and Mother’s Day in Ireland is a different day to Mother’s Day in the US - it was last month. I think I phoned my mother then; I know I meant to.
