Heroes in Cork
Last night the opening episode of the second series of Heroes was broadcast in the US.
Although I didn’t have a television when I lived in the US, because NBC made Heroes freely available online I did get to see the first series. Hokey as it was it was also a blast.
Not living in the US the NBC site blocks you from their online video player for certain content - including Heroes.
However there are always alternatives so I did get to watch Heroes last night and am happy to report for those who care about saving the world, or at least the cheerleader, and don’t already know, that the climax of the show took place in Ireland. In Cork, no less.
There were even Irish accents - though not Cork ones. If you’ve seen the episode you’ll know that the scene has given me nightmares. Not because of brains getting sucked out of heads, but because I’m expecting my stuff to arrive from America in one of those containers in a couple of weeks.
That’s all. I don’t know when it will be broadcast on Irish television. Carry on.
