Flying Cheaply
While you read today’s posts, chuckling away - at how I get away with this stuff probably - you should know that I’m not here.
I don’t mean that I’m not in Kansas City - which I’m not - I mean that I’m not in Dublin. In a few minutes I head to Dublin Airport for London.
And how much does it cost to fly to London? I used to hate RyanAir. I still don’t like them, but it’s hard to single them out as much because so many other airlines have joined them down there in the cheap prices and low service.
If you don’t check in any baggage, and you do check in online, and you don’t want to get on the plane before anybody else, and you book early enough, and you’re flexible enough, then the cost of your return trip from Dublin to London can be like mine. After all their various fees and charges, including the charges for using a credit card, my round-trip costs 18 euro.
Anyway, I’m due to leave the house for the airport in 15 minutes and I haven’t packed yet, so excuse me for now and we’ll talk again later. I’m very excited.
