Columbus Day in the Midwest
Less than an hour after Columbus Day and I find myself in Ireland all nostalgic for the day I had this time last year.
Or maybe it’s for the time I had this day last year.
The main thing is that I’m nostalgic. And in blogging terms that means archives.
See a little chat about Columbus Day last year, but it could’ve been any year.
And see how lucky you are in America? Although life itself is one big holiday for me, technically I haven’t actually had so much as a Bank Holiday since my arrival in Ireland, because I came home during the long dry spell between the August holiday and the Halloween one. Mid-September is crying out for a holiday.
Lúnasa and Samhain are just too far apart. I’m going down the social.
