Brendan Loughrey at Paddy O’Quigley’s
TONIGHT Friday October 12th, 2007 at 9pm in the Paddy O’Quigley’s at 119th & Roe is balladeer Brendan Loughery from Ireland.
And tomorrow night, Saturday October 13th 2007, also at 9pm, Loughrey is playing the O’Quigley’s in the Crossroads, the readers’ choice of Best New Pub in the metro area in the recently published Pitch awards.
Based in Chicago, Loughrey is a familiar voice at Irish festivals throughtout the Midwest, and probably more known to St. Louis than he is to Kansas City.
Brendan is a songwriter and a singer, and heavy on the passion stuff. You can listen to a sample of him on his web site. Right now that means you’ll get to hear him sing he’s living in the heart of Ireland, which I think is Mullingar - a long way from Chicago.

At 119th & Roe tonight they’re expecting a big party because it’s Tina’s Birthday. So even if you don’t have fun yourself you can at least watch others doing so.
