We’ll Go On So
Okay then, we’ll carry on with the cottage posts.
The cottage chronicles are the first things I’ve ever done on IrishKC that I didn’t actually plan.
I’m not quite sure how I’ll carry it on but I’ll do what’s easiest for me. Since it’s running a few days behind actual time anyway I have a buffer of a few days not yet posted that I can play with. (Today for example I’m writing Day 14, but I’ve only posted up to Day 7)
I’ll probably do something like post 5 days out of 7 and grow the buffer but it could stop at any moment because I don’t find it practical.
Also, it all could be moot anyway because as I write this the landlord has arrived and told me that he is not now going to sort out the porch roof. So I have 2 days to decide if I take the cottage as is, with it leaking on the space that I’d planned to work in.
In his favour he has said that if I am not happy with it he will refund me the rent I have paid.
I have some thinking to do.
[NOTE: The outcome of this development won’t appear until Days 14-16]

You have some thinking to do? No. You have a roof to fix. Can’t have a leaky roof spoiling this series of posts.
I can’t let a blog run my life, though you’re right - it is just a leaky roof. We’ll see.
Well it’s nice to see your post; though the roof problem seems to be something that could keep you busy if you decide to stay. Hopefully it won’t get in the way of your painting and your blog. Seems like a lovely place to paint.
It is truly a lovely place to paint Roxanne, and I haven’t managed any photographs to convey that. I doubt I ever will.
