Two New Fadó Irish Pubs for St Louis, MO
News of two new Irish pubs over on the other side of the state of Missouri in St Louis. Two Fadó Irish Pubs are opening in St. Louis in September and November of 2007.
This is according to John Piccirillo, the company’s marketing director, as reported on StLouisToday.com:
The Atlanta-based chain, Guinness’ biggest “on-premises” account in America, expects to open its downtown spot, Tigin Pub, in the Hampton Inn at Washington Avenue and Third Street in September.
The Central West End Fadó should open in November at the corner of North Euclid and Maryland avenues.

I’m not sure this is a good thing though. I’ve been in these pubs in many different cities and I can’t get over their Oirish-ness. I thought about doing a conference presentation on this chain but it fell to the wayside.
Without the people I think they’re a flawed concept - and even with the people to populate them I still struggle with. There’s something about reality coming in a box as a jigsaw puzzle; I do prefer a more organic blossoming.

That’s fabulous, Eolai, thanks a bunch.
When my sister leaves tomorrow I’m going to put some links to your fine posts on the ‘ol blog including the one on pubs and you on the phone with your mom.
Thanks also for coming over and being generous with the compliments!
