Tullamore on St Patrick’s Day 2008
Looking for St Patrick’s Day events in Kansas City 2008?
Before the US concert premiere for Tullamore in Kansas City, you get a more intimate chance or two to see them in the region on the big green day of debauchery.
On Monday March 17, 2008, St Patrick’s Day (if you disregard the whole church business and saints’ days clashing with holy week) Tullamore are playing in O’Malley’s Irish Pub of Weston, Missouri, after earlier in the day performing over in Topeka, Kansas.
Topeka, KS
Tullamore play at the Jayhawk Tower for Topeka’s St Patrick’s Day celebrants. The afternoon gala will be held in the Florentine Room following the parade, and will include performances by the Pipers of the Plains, the O’Shea Sisters, and Theresa’s Irish Lassy Dancers. Music is scheduled from 1:30pm until 4:30pm. And you’ll find all that at 700 SW Jackson Street in downtown Topeka.
Weston, MO
O’Malley’s 1842 Irish Pub of Weston is located at 500 Welt Street. It’s a fantastic pub just by itself but it also has probably the best lineup of Irish entertainment on the big day, in what’s likely to be the biggest party. As well as Tullamore (at 8pm-midnight), also appearing are Bob Reeder (4-6pm), Connacht Town (5-6pm), Ellis Island (6-9pm), and Flannigan’s Right Hook (9pm-midnight).
