Titanic, how many Irish passengers survived?
What is it with this ship?
I don’t know and I’m not looking it up. I do know that the two authorities after the disaster - British and American - ended up with different totals for all those who died that night.
Oh, okay - Edward O’Donnell says 74 of the 113 Irish passengers who got on at Cobh (Queenstown) died, and five of the ten Irish passengers who got on at Southampton also died.
Your answer: 44
