The Fuchsia Band in Arkansas
Because you are tall and attractive (apologies if you’re actually small and ugly), you know that The Fuchsia Band’s US Tour launching gig at Jim Curley’s Mountain Music Shoppe on July 18 sold out on Saturday.
Most shows at this much loved venue do sell out and usually quite well in advance, so this is no surprise, and it leaves you with the next nearest official gig to Kansas City to see The Fuchsia Band perform being on July 22nd at Sticky Fingerz, down in Little Rock, Arkansas where support is provided by Something for the House the band that includes the multi-talented Kevin Kiley.
Now with the Delahunt having a Cafe in Kansas City. And? And Mairtin and the boys being Marbh gan Té, Marbh gan é (Dead With Tea, Dead Without it), you could always frequent the Cafe & a lot in between Fuchsia Band gigs just to see what might happen, especially with live Irish traditional music starting there on Saturday July 8th.

Hello Eloai…
This is Kevin Kiley in Little Rock Arkansas…
Thanks for mentioning the upcoming FUCHSIA concert
down here at Sticky Fingerz Nightclub! We sure are excited
about around here and it’s going to be a great night.
Word of caution to anyone who might need their “Fuchsia Fix”
and will be heading this way to see the concert… the Sticky Fingerz
venue only has a capacity for 350 people and tickets are going fast!
Also… don’t forget that as of TODAY ( June 29, 2006 ) the special
Nationwide release of the Celtic Connection radio program
dedicated to “The Fuchsia Band” takes place.
The show will start airing TONIGHT on many of the 120 affiliates
and INTERNET ONLINE broadcasts start on Saturday morning.
I don’t know if Kansas City actually gets the “Celtic Connections”
radio show but there are a number of online broadcasts each week.
Anyone interested in listening to the Celtic Connections radio
show ONLINE via their browser can go to a special page on
“The Fuchsia Band” forum and see all the scheduled online
broadcasts. Times are in “Kansas City Time” (CDT) and
Dublin time.
Just to to the Fuchsia website at…
http://www.thefuchsiaband.com/
and then pick “Forum” and then pick
“Celtic Connections Radio Show”…
OR… the following is a direct link to the “Celtic Connections
Radio Show” forum message on the forum…
