The Elders & The Kelihans at St Peter’s School in Kansas City
On Friday April 11, 2008 at 7:30pm there is a benefit concert at St. Peter’s School by the Kansas City celtic rock groups, The Elders and The Kelihans.
The gig is in the gym. It’s a benefit that the Elders have done before.
Schedule:
7:30 - Doors Open
8:00 - The Kelihans
9:00 - The Elders
I’m looking forward to Doors Open. I love their early stuff.
Tickets $15
Available at Browne’s Irish Market and Deli, 3300 Pennsylvania, or at St. Peter’s on the night of the concert.
Kids 12 and under are admitted for free, so they are. Food and beverage, including alcoholic is available. So you can eat, drink, and be merry.
This event - which I meant to post a week or 2 ago - has been posted on the Kansas city Irish Events calendar.

Although, I hear the Elders quite often from a distance, I never get an “upclose” experience. This is one of the weekends I don’t have a show so I am planning on going to see the Elders and looking forward to it as long as Pig Nipple got me the tickets as he promised. I’ll report back to you in regard to their performance. I’ll especially be looking for that “doors open” number.
