Rain, Rain, Rain
Actually it was a beautiful day in Ireland’s capital, but as you know Kansas City was wet.
A limousine, the last entry in the parade, pulled to the end of the route at Truman Road only an hour and a half after the parade took off from Pershing Road. At the same time, the steady rain that fell throughout the parade began to grow more heavy.

Rain dampened Kansas City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Monday. But, lots of people still came out to watch all the floats and bands stream down the street.

Rain fell steady as the parade started at 11 a.m. The weather seemed to keep some people away. Crowds were visibly not as deep as in years past.
