Pomegranate Goes to Weston, MO
And speaking of websites and chronicles and all things Irish, Kansas City’s Pomegrante went to O’Malley’s Irish Pub of Weston yesterday last Sunday, and had an unabashedly great time. With Bob Reeder playing his part. And a dead John Denver making it as Irish as the upstairs lounge of any Dublin pub.
The post glows with the warmth that you feel when you’ve consumed just a little bit more than the right amount of beer. And there’s the photos to prove it.
Tony alerted me to it because I don’t check Pomegranate as often as I should.

Pomegranate didn’t visit O’Malley’s yesterday. Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday and Bob had the day off. The rest of the regulars gathered in the middle cellar and watched the Big Game on the Big Screen and had a Big Time eating Big Chili Dogs and drinking (big) glasses of Irish Cream Ale.
Sounds like a great time - I fell asleep watching Prince, and then apparently blanked out a whole week. Thanks Pete, fixed now - and there was no confusion on Pomegrantae’s site.
aww. thanks!
