Pirates & Black 47
Speaking of pirates Larry Kirwan of Black 47 says there are openings for pirates and wenches aboard their Rocks Off Concert Cruise in New York Harbor on July 21 aboard the Half Moon. Just call 212-571-3304.
If New York isn’t handy for you, I doubt anybody would mind if you dress as a pirate come September when Black 47 hit the Midwest.
A few years back Larry wrote a song called The Pirate Boy, which was a reworking of Whiskey in the Jar which you can find on a CD for children called Keltic Kids.
Copies of this great CD reached quite a few parents in Kansas City when Black 47 played the Brookside Irish Festival, and I can personally heartily recommend this CD on behalf of a load of Irish kids.
