Park University Assistant Professor To Speak in Ireland
Claudia McVicker, Ph.D., assistant professor of literacy education at Park University in Parkville, received the International Reading Association’s Educator Travel Award, at the Association’s recent annual convention - which will mean a trip to Ireland for the assistant professor.
The award provides Dr. McVicker with a $1,000 stipend to travel to Dublin, Ireland, in September as an invited speaker at the Reading Association of Ireland’s annual conference.
The Master of Education in Literacy Education is available only on campus in the Kansas City area.
