Parade After-Party at Kansas City Irish Center
“Céilí at the Station” is the official post-parade party that is taking place at the Kansas City Irish Center after the Kansas City St Patrick’s Day parade.
A Céilí in this context is a dance party. Live music is being provided by Calliope. There’ll be dance performances and instruction with members of the group Céilí at the Crosroads, and céilí caller Erin Joyce keeping everybody organized.
The pub at the Irish Center will be open and snacks and beverages are available for children.
Given that it’s the official after-parade party the parade committee members will arrive to announce the 2013 parade winners.
This party takes place on March 17, 2013, from 2-6pm because you can’t have a party without an end-time. Admission is $5, kids under 12 are free, food & drink is available for purchase.
