The showings for this weekend, October 14 and 15, for the longest running matinee at KC’s Screenland, Nelly Don: A Stitch in Time, have been added to the Events Calendar.
Irish-American Nelly Don was Kansas City’s first woman millionaire, and that was when a million dollars meant a whole lot of money. I meant to tell you back in the summer that Present Magazine produced a very nice special issue (pdf) celebrating the Nelly Don documentary and its maker Terence O’Malley.
