Neeson Narrated KC Film Screening in Overland Park, KS
A reminder that the World Premiere of Resting Places is tonight.
This is the locally made film narrated by Liam Neeson about roadside memorials that includes footage of Eddie Delahunt in O’Dowd’s talking about the phenomenom in Ireland.
I’ve spoken with Melissa Villanueva several times about her film and she’s very excited about this premiere screening, and were I in KC tonight I would definitely be there.
The showing, as the final film in the Kansas International Film Festival, is at 7:45pm TONIGHT, September 20 2007,at the Glenwood Arts Theater which is over at 95th and Metcalf.
The film has its own page on MySpace and I’ve written about it and my experiences with roadside memorials as well as talking with Melissa.
There is also talk of it being screened in England this year. That might just work for me, but if not I’ll keep an eye for any showings it may yet receive on the small screen.
