Moore Street, Dublin - Closing Time
When I was a kid I used to go with my mother to Moore Street for the week’s fruit and veg. And as I got older I took over the duties.
First the meat from Stoneybatter, and then on to Moore Street.
We had our woman. And when you have your woman you don’t buy from anyone else, not even if their bananas are cheaper.
When people say Dublin is snobby and greedy, they’re not talking about Moore Street. Chances are they’re not talking about very much of Dublin.
