Mickey’s Irish Pub St Patrick’s Day Marathon 2007
Mickey’s Irish Pub of Lenexa will be having a three-day celebration of Ireland’s patron saint.
Mickey’s festival of Irishness called begins on Wednesday March 15 and it continues until you pee your last drop of green beer. It’s called St Patrick’s Marathon, referring to the ongoing wearing and drinking of the green - there won’t be anybody actually running a marathon, least of all Saint Patrick himself.
Flannigans Right Hook is the main Irish attraction in Lenexa on the Friday, March 16, but there’s more live music also on the big day from Pomeroy, and on March 15 it all begins with The Zeros.
There’s also talk of green jell-o shots and other green things throughout the three days. And I hear that they’re running a sweepstakes to win two tickets to Ireland
