One of my favourite things to ever come out of Kansas City’s Irish world is the relatively recently launched Lunch Tunes
Published by Ireland’s Turlach Boylan (of Glen Road, The KC School of Irish Traditional Music, and original member of Kelly), Lunchtunes is beautifully simple.
Meeting every week at Doug Goodhart’s house to play some music and teach each other some tunes. Publishing some of them as podcasts.
Food, music, and photos, under a perfect header graphic by Mason Brown. Treasure it. Such a refreshing change from all the bombast and blather.
