KC GAC Adds Website & Forum to Online Empire
Continuing its explosion onto the web, the Kansas City Gaelic Athletic club has added a website and a forum to its existing Blog, MySpace and FaceBook pages.
Under the GAA umbrella, the website is brand new so expect many developments and changes. Since launch I’ve seen it change several times already.
If you weren’t aware the KC Gaelic Athletic Club holds training sessions and games on Sundays - at 1pm at the Southwest High playing fields at 65th & Wornall. By sessions we’re talking Gaelic Football mostly though recently they’ve even thrown in some hurling for good measure.
If that’s too scary for you - and it shouldn’t be, there’s nothing to stop you going and watching and all skill and knowledge levels are welcome anyway, starting at zero - on Tuesday lunchtimes a group meet in The Gaf on Wornall to watch Gaelic games on TV. It’s not always on though so it’s worth your while to check.
If you’re planning on attending Kansas City’s Celtic Festival at Governor Stumpy’s later this month, keep an eye out for the club as they plan to show themselves off.
