Kansas Cousin Visits Ireland
Lisa & Damon are from California but are spending one year in Ireland on work assignment.
Recently cousin Bruce from Kansas came to visit, so it was time to do some touring around Ireland again.
The featured destinations were Kerry, Dublin and Galway:
The infamous crappy weather of Ireland hampered our journey that day. Our jeans got soggy hiking out to John d’Arcy Castle; we turned back and sipped on hot chocolate at the boathouse restaurant near the docks. We had to skip the John d’Arcy monument due to rain and low visibility. We also snapped some photos of Kylemore Abbey on the way home.
I like to highlight any blogs by Americans that visit or live in Ireland - particularly when they feature people from Missouri or Kansas. It gives a more complete picture to my own biased view of my homeland.
