Ladies and gentlemen, here’s the man who’s filled Eddie Delahunt’s shoes since Eddie’s weekly Harling’s Upstairs gigs finished. I’d like to see him fill his shorts.
Those were my words when I introduced Jonathan Ramsey onstage at the Brookside Irish Festival, in a different era. These days Jonathan no longer lives in Kansas City, but he does come back from his St Louis base to frequently to play to his old fans.

When Jonathan comes to visit the Kansas City area, he often plays the Flea Market in Westport, O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Weston, and Harling’s Upstairs on Main by 39th. In 2007 and 2006 Jonathan also played in the big tent at Lew’s Grill & Bar for their St Patrick’s Day Hooley.
