Irish Racing for US TV Market
Born of a love of horses no ocean can deny, American broadcaster TVG (Television Games Network) has struck an agreement with European broadcaster ATR (At The Races) to exchange live racing. 60% of U.K. fixtures and 100% of Irish fixtures will now be shown in the U.S.
This means whichever of the two continents you live in, you now have extended live horseracing coverage providing more opportunities for you to get rich, and less reason to go to bed:
For seven years our broadcast day began at [noon], but now we’ll cater to horseplayers on the East Coast by going live at 9 a.m. ET with the best U.K. and Irish races from At The Races
It all starts in December, but as I don’t possess a television I’ll carry on betting on the exchange rate between the euro and the dollar
