Irish Music in KC by The Fuchsia Band
The Fuchsia Band are playing in Kansas City on Tuesday, 5 August 2008, at the new location of Eddie Delahunt’s Cafe.
Purveyors of Irish traditional music in the Kansas City area since frontman Máirtín de Cógáin bumped into the same Eddie Delahunt, The Fuchsia Band from Cork have an awful habit of entertaining people before leaving them waiting for their next visit.
You know the score, so put it on your calendar (and I’ll put it on my Irish events calendar), but if you don’t know the score about fabulous four burger eaters from Cork, have a read of my account of their gig at Eddie’s coffeeshop last year, almost a year to the day earlier than this August 2008 Irish music event.
The Fuchsia Band are also playing in Jefferson City, Missouri the next night, Wednesday August 6, 2008 at the Langston Hughes Theatre at Lincoln University, and I’ll post more details on that later - though if you’re looking for tickets Paddy Malone’s is the place to get them.

Thanks Kevin - The plan is to give this special gig its own post as it will reach more people that way.
