Irish Art at Irish Trad House Concert
Original Irish paintings by an Irish artist resident in Kansas City - okay it’s me - will be on display this evening at the Matt & Shannon Heaton performance in Lenexa, Kansas.
Eight paintings of Irish scenes such as Kinsale, Galway, the Dingle Peninsula, and Listowel, were available at a specially reduced rate for trad fans - for November 19 only.
The painting depicted is of a scene from the east of Ireland, on a stone cross I used to cycle a long distance to, just to eat a sandwich alone in its company.
