When his parents were worried about the inflexibility of Korean high school, Lee Oh was sent to attend high school in America.
Lee later progressed to the University of Kansas, went on to become a devout Lutheran, and ultimately fall in love with an Irish-American girl.
Then, being Korean, Lee did his mandatory two-year stint in the South Korean army, which he has just completed. And to celebrate, Lee is being taken by Slate writer, expat Rolf Potts, indoor fishing.
