Resting Places Filmmakers on KCUR
Local based film-makers, Melissa Villanueva and Joe Kipikash, are on Up To Date with Steve Kraske on KCUR, Wednesday, February 28 from 11am-Noon.
KCUR is Kansas City’s NPR station on 89.3. Mel & Kip will be talking about roadside memorials, sharing clips and stories from their documentary Resting Places, and there will be an appearance from Senator Phil Journey, who has proposed a bill to regulate roadside memorials in Kansas.
Resting Places is the documentary on roadside memorials that included a section with Dubliner Eddie Delahunt talking about the growth of makeshift roadside memorials in Ireland.
