Painting of West of Ireland

This is a large painting I did of the West of Ireland, that I’m offering for sale. (Update: SOLD)

I call it Blue Mountains, Green Grass because I’m an Irish stereotype

By large I mean 40 inches wide by 30 high. It has painted sides, one and a half inches thick - so it’s fine to hang as is, no frame needed.

When in a gallery this painting is priced at $3,000 - it’s big remember. I’ve also shown it at festivals and other venues where it was priced at $1,300. Yes, those prices are meaningless because it hasn’t sold. It’s a long time since I last showed it.

Anyway, for Irish KC readers - which is you if you’re reading this - ~~I’m pricing it at $775 excluding shipping~~. (Update: SOLD)

I’m not putting it in my online art shop because shipping is set up there to be way too cheap for a painting of this size.

So instead, ~~if you’re interested, contact me, I’ll try and get a quote on shipping for you and then you can see if you want to go ahead.~~

Where is it of? Ah look, it’s meant to be wherever you want it to be of - that’s why I called it Blue Mountains, Green Grass and not The Ox Mountains, Maam Cross, Prague, or the Napa Valley.

If you don’t like it, or more specifically don’t want to buy it, that’s very fine by me because much as I need the money I really don’t want to sell this painting for this amount of money.

It’s gorgeous, Eolai. If I had the cash I’d buy it in a heartbeat. $775 is a steal!

Thanks very much Medbh. And I know, $775 is a lot of money, no matter what it is for; I don’t have it myself.

Wow! I’m disappointed I missed this. Do you ever do fine art duplicates? I use a large format printer to print on canvas and other substrates for artists. If you have more like this, I would love to see them.
