KC Irish Pub Lands U2 Tribute Band
Kansas City’s new downtown Irish pub, Raglan Road continues its high profile local Irish associations with a March triple booking of U2 tribute band Rattle & Hum.
KC’s much lauded U2 tribute band, Rattle & Hum KC, are scheduled to play in Raglan Road on March 13, 15 and 17, 2008 which you’ll notice is the build up to and St Patrick’s Day itself:
Thursday March 13 @ 8pm
Saturday March 15 @ 10pm
Monday March 17 @ 2:30pm
Before then you get an opportunity to see Rattle & Hum play at the Brooksider in well, Brookside, on Friday February 15, 2008 at 10pm.
RHKC also play the Record Bar on Paddy’s Day - and yes it won’t be too long before I post a guide to Kansas City’s St Patrick’s Day 2008 just like I did for 2007.
Strangely overlooked by some in Kansas City’s Irish community, RHKC regularly play high profile gigs in the KC area and surrounding states and this should help ensure Raglan Road have an immediate presence in the city.
Much more important than any of this though is that Rattle & Hum drummer Gary and his wife Jo-Marie yesterday welcomed their second child Henry into the world. Congratulations so!
