Kansas City Gaelic Football: Report v Little Rock & St Louis
The promised Gaelic Football match report from Kansas City’s involvement in the 1st Mid-America Gaelic Classic is in.
KC Gaelic Athletic Club PRO Dan has posted an account of the two games KC played, along with the timely arrival of the new green and navy Kansas City GAA jerseys.
The more interesting of the 2 games was Kansas City’s rematch with Little Rock GAA (read report of first KC Little Rock GAA match).
With Little Rock fresh from its game against St Louis, KC competed well in the first half but were behind at half time:
The tide turned when the second half began. Down only 5 points, we knew we could erase that with smart play.
We attacked relentlessly. Up front, our forwards, lead by the Sully Brothers, led a blistering offensive.
What happened next? Either you already know the score or you can follow the excitement in words and pictures on the blog of the KCGAC.
Weekly training sessions (Sundays) and social sessions (Tuesdays) are posted on the Kansas City Irish events calendar.
