Dingle Votes for Bilingual Name
It has no legal standing, in terms of the Official Languages Act, but the results of the plebiscite in The Town Formerly Known As Dingle (TTFKAD) are in, and unsurprisingly are overwhelmingly in favour of adopting the bilingual name of Dingle - An Daingean Ui Chuis by 1,005 votes to 70 from a turnout of 89.6%
