Bob Reeder at Waxy O’Shea’s
Bob Reeder is playing at Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub on Saturday, September 30. This is perfect if you want to pretend you’re a passenger on the Titanic that day, and then find out if you die before seeing Bob perform his Irish songs.
Waxy’s is the new Irish pub in Branson, Missouri, started by the men who once upon-a-time gave Kansas City WJ MCBride’s Irish Pub and O’Dowd’s Little Dublin - so you know you’re talking about a quality place. Waxy O’Shea’s is located in the prestigious Branson Landing and I hear that it’s doing great business since it opened.
Bob Reeder performs at 8pm

Do you have anytracks I can put on my site?
Bob makes eight thirty-second MP3 clips available on his site, but I\’d recommend you check it with Bob himself first.
Waxy O’Shea’s might be doing great business at the Branson Landing location, but they won’t have many repeats if they keep doing business like when we were there. The “hostess” was extremly unorganized and couldn’t seem to figure out that if you have five empty tables you really can seat people there instead of the bar. I could go on and on about this person, but she’s young so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. The food, we ordered fish and chips, was undercooked, tasteless and obviously on the cold side. We did have a great waitress named Juanita, but stay away from Jeff’s tables. He was rude and indifferent to the people who were seated in the booth in front of us. I don’t know what the lady was trying to order, but he kept repeating, “This is an Irish pub, it’s called a pint”. Just bring the lady a glass of beer already! Yes Jeff, we all understand what a pint is.
I’m sure with time O’Shea’s will improve. Right now the only thing it has going for it is the location and Juanita.
