Just to follow up on Frank McCourt’s visit to MSU, Springfield’s News-Leader has more quotes from the man about where he is now.
Well actually where he is right now is California as his tour continues, but he is also working on a new book called Angela and the Baby Jesus, due to be published in autumn of 2007.
“This is a book about children and Christmas — what could be better?” said McCourt. How about a big bowl of bread pudding with custard? That would be better. As would a walk in the rain with somebody who gets better looking the more they get wet.
Oh, and I promised you I had an Angela’s Ashes story. It’ll keep. It’ll keep.
