High Llamas in Ireland
Distracted today as the Irish online world was all atwitter about a herd of llamas loose on the M50 (our motorway ring road equivalent to I-435).
I liked the description by AA RoadWatch, the main traffic reporting body, when it described the 6 loose llamas by the slip road to Red Cow junction (that used to be a roundabout and now it’s a circus) and said “otherwise the M50 is moving well in both directions”.
It’s only a couple of minutes up the road for me, so I could have gone for photos for you, but strangely I have work to do. RTE have more less info
UPDATE Oct 2, The herd of llamas involved in yesterday’s M50 incident, that were being kept in a pound by authorities, pending investigation and fines of the owner, are now reported as having been stolen from pound.
