Heat That Would Kill
Just for comparison purposes.
At 10:15am this mid-June morning my mother in Ireland proclaimed that she was going to eat her breakfast outside.
Because “the heat would kill you”.
In Kansas City right now it is 4:15am and the temperature is 70 F (21 C) with a humidity of 85%.
And the heat in Dublin that would kill you?
57 F (14 C) with a humidity of 77%.
Of course you know I didn’t have the foggiest what these figures were and had to look them up. Because of the way people in Ireland talk about temperatures.
