Free Movie for KC: Irish Angle
There is a FREE movie this Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Screenland in Kansas City’s Crossroads district.
Update: Please see Roger Feeley’s comment below about this event being not open to the public.
The Movie? No it’s not called “Irish Angle” - it has an Irish angle.
It’s Bonnie & Clyde Vs Dracula
It starts at 7pm but as it’s free you may want to get there quite early.
And the Irish angle? Mr Dracula.
Dracula was created by my fellow Dubliner, Bram Stoker, when he wrote his most famous novel way back in the late 19th century.
The locally owned, independent theater, theScreenland, is located in the heart of Kansas City’s Crossroads art district at 1656 Washington (1 block west of Broadway on 17th).
Bonnie & Clyde Vs Dracula is made by Big Atom Productions, a Kansas City-based independent film company, and you can see a trailer for it right HERE. A vampire gangster fusion flick. Why wouldn’t you go? Because you’re not one of the cast or crew, that’s why.
I heard of this via a bulletin on MySpace, so you may want to call the Screenland to make sure (816) 421 2900.

Sorry folks, this is a private event for cast and crew only.
Thanks Roger - it did seem too good to be true. Good luck with it!
