Fling: KC Film
A Kansas City film of all mixed up relationships, which includes a scene shot in the much remembered iconic space that was Bloomsday Books, begins a week-long run at the Screenland on November 14, 2008.
Laura Boersma and John Stewart Muller are the film-makers who are bringing this particular vision of Kansas City to the big screen.
The story of their quest for some local music to add to the soundtrack is told by Jason in The Pitch:
Though Boersma and Muller already had some kickass orginal score music by Grammy-nominated composer Nick Urata (Little Miss Sunshine and Devotchka), the two were looking for some local sounds.
